Children can learn a lot from playing. Toys are more than fun as they engage child’s senses, spark their imagination and encourage them to interact with others. Toys nurture creativity and values such as cooperation sharing and respect for others. Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has also highlighted the potential of toys market in India and the opportunity to promote “Aatm Nirbhar Bharat” through it. Our students and teachers have developed a number of educational toys with an aim to provide active and joyful learning by including them in the teaching learning process and pedagogy. The toys are based on the themes of Indian culture, mythology and history. Some of them are based on rediscovering and redesigning Indian traditional toys. It will definitely inspire other children to conceive innovative ideas in making of educational toys and have better understanding of the concepts which they find difficult to understand.
